Along the water's edge ~ this loft style, traditional log cottage is too adorable for words! Hand hewn logs reflect the rich history of Limberlost Land's origins.
Two entrances allow for easy access from your vehicle, parked right at your back door... or popping up from the beach at your front door. A double bed and SINGLE pullout couch in the cozy living area allow for 1-3 guests.
Step out on the deck, walk down the stairs, and put your toes in the sands of Limberlost Beach. Iris Cottage awaits you!

Lily Pad: Cozy comfort abounds in the second side of "The Duplex". This cottage sleep 1-3 guests with a loft style layout. Nearly identical to the Iris Cottage, this unit features a larger bathroom but has just one entrance, from the lake side of the cottage. In the living area you will find stone fireplace, sitting chairs, a couch and double bed. This cottage does have the ability to add a cot to the kitchen area - this requires the dining area to be relocated to the living room, in front of the fireplace and large window.
Iris Cottage and The Lily Pad (otherwise referred to as "The Duplex") are perfect for two couples, or a small family with older children that can stay between the two units. Small but mighty, these cottages share a large deck overlooking Chub Lake and the sandy beaches of Limberlost. Each cottage has a double bed, sitting chairs, a writing desk, and couch in the living area with a large stone fireplace. Each side of the duplex has its own fully equipped kitchen, 3 piece bathroom, and propane BBQ on the deck.
Enjoy the privacy of your own waterfront escape with the convenience of your closest friends or family right next door! While it can be great fun to share a cottage, it can be wonderful to have your own bathroom and space, too! Have breakfast gazing out over Chub Lake from your dining area… indoors or out. Taking your coffee on the deck or private dock? Perhaps you will see a loon or two cruise by to say hello.
Just down the stairs from your deck and you are on the Duplex Dock - yours to share with the next door neighbours. Park your boat close or grab a canoe and set off for the day. Prefer to relax? The Loon's Nest - Waterfront 2 Bedroom Cottage can accommodate up to 5 guests. Newly renovated, this cottage is available YEAR ROUND as of November 2017!
A Limberlost favourite, The Loon's Nest has recently been renovated yet maintains that rustic, cottage feeling loved by Limberlost friends. This 2 bedroom beauty, also located on the sandy shores of Chub Lake, provides all of the comforts of home with an exceptional view. Although the cottage currently has a large stone fireplace, it is closed up for the winter and replaced with a toasty propane fireplace. Spring 2018 this cozy cabin was renovated in the living area to remove the stone fireplace and replace it with a stand-alone woodstove for ultimate safety, efficiency, and added space. The Loons Nest features 1 double bed in the Master along with 1 Double and 1 Single bed in the spare.
Open concept kitchen and living area features a cathedral ceiling and huge window to take in the incredible view. Make yourself at home with your own spacious deck - perfect for entertaining, or laying out with a good book.

A generous living area, extra large kitchen, and 2 bedroom layout make this cottage perfect for larger families or groups of anglers/hunters as it accommodates as many as 7 guests. Enjoy the special privacy this cottage affords, or take a stroll down to the main lodge to gather with the rest of us! MacDonald House can be booked Spring, Summer, and Fall.

Set back at the top of the property, Pine Haus is our largest, most modern unit. This 3 bedroom cottage has loads of room for families or groups of couples looking to ESCAPE - Year Round!
Equipped with a Queen in the Master, Double and Twin in Spare Room #1 and two Twins in Spare Room #2 as well as a new bathroom (2019) with beautiful walk in shower with bench. Television is also included with this cottage! Pine Haus has an open concept kitchen (new counters, sinks and hardware 2021, new appliances 2020) and dining area, attached to a spacious living room with fabulous woodstove.
Sit on the full-sized deck to enjoy the sunshine, birds and solitude. Your deck is complete with patio furniture, BBQ, accessible ramp, and covered entry. The backyard is private and sizeable to be able to enjoy lawn games, set up a picnic, or do some outdoor yoga.

Three bedrooms allow for up to 7 guests to cozy up to the fire or BBQ the catch of the day on the wrap around deck. Pine Haus can be your oasis to unplug from the everyday, but this gem also allows for those to enjoy the creature comforts on those rainy days. Satellite television is provided in only two cottages at Limberlost and Pine Haus in one of them, featuring a new flat screen tv.

This cottage is now double in size and boasts Limberlost Lodge’s ONLY propane fireplace, for easy access to a cozy ambiance. Enjoy unobstructed views of Chub Lake and the beach, just steps away while sitting on your covered deck. Or keep an eye on the playground and enjoy the sun on the new full exposure deck. As our Limberlost families grow, it was a much needed renovation to enable a FIVE guest capacity.
